Successful Wanita Makmur Webinar: Aspiring Women Building a Legacy

Kota Kinabalu, 10 March 2025 – Jabatan Hal Ehwal Wanita Sabah (JHEWA) telah berjaya menganjurkan webinar Motivasi Wanita Makmur bertemakan "Wanita Beraspirasi Membina Legasi" sempena Hari Wanita Antarabangsa 2025. Program yang diadakan dalam talian melalui aplikasi Zoom dan Facebook Live ini dirasmikan oleh YBhg. Puan Hajah Haslina Ismail, Pengarah JHEWA.

The webinar featured two experienced speakers. Encik Shahrulnaz Norhazli bin Nazri, Senior Principal Assistant Director of the Nutrition Branch, Public Health Division, Sabah State Health Department, spoke on 'Healthy Eating During Ramadan', offering practical nutritional guidance for wellbeing during the fasting month.

The second speaker, renowned motivational expert Dato' Dr Haji Mohd Fadzilah bin Kamsah, addressed 'Managing Stress and Toxicity'. He emphasised mental health and everyday stress management, particularly among women.

The programme attracted 749 participants, including public servants, women's association members, private agency staff and the public. Held from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm, it provided information on mental health and nutrition.

The webinar's main objective was to develop a more productive and prosperous society, particularly in Sabah and Malaysia generally. It is hoped that the initiative will raise awareness and positively influence health and wellbeing.

Following the webinar's success, JHEWA remains committed to programmes that benefit women and the wider community.
